Easter is coming!

We want to wish you all a Happy Easter and hope you and your families are doing well. We miss all the friends we made in San Leandro, San Francisco, and the other places we have lived and hope that someday our paths will cross again. So this year we decided to color some eggs because I have not done it in a few years, and it was a fun thing to do with my family growing up. I wanted my eggs to last so I could use them for a decoration so Jeff and I were trying to blow out the eggs and also keep the hole small but after 5 minutes of blowing and half the egg out, our cheeks,(oh excuse me, Jeff corrects me, our masseter muscles) were killing us. Jeff decided he would suck the egg yolk out instead because it was easier...yuck...he was on his own for this. I couldn't even watch it was grossing me out so bad!

The color process: I got this die at Dollar Tree and it surprised me that it worked so well.

And the final result...
I had to get a picture of my flowers and vase too. As you can see, our kitchen is sooo dark and needed a little spring pick-me-up. I got the white vase for a few bucks at Ross and I wanted to add a little color to it so I went to Micheals and picked out this green color which didn't look as neon as it turned out. However, I think the color is growing on me now.

Cindy tagged me!

I've been able to avoid these until now...
10 years ago: Just moved back home from Utah and was the CTR 8 teacher. I was going to school taking pre-requisites for dental hygiene school, and working as a licensing/contracting specialist in an office where my dad worked also. I loved this job, I got to have lunch every day with my dad! Here is my primary class practicing for sharing time...
If I were suddenly a billionaire: Pay off my school loans and Jeff's school loans, lets see, there wouldn't be much left after that! Like Cindy, buy some houses for us and the whole fam-damily, maybe some vacation homes too. Then put myself through culinary school, I'd love to be a chef.

Things on my to do list today: Prepare my presentation and game for the Relief Society Birthday Celebration, send a reminder email about girl's night out, go grocery shopping, do laundry, pick up my car from the dealer, and I haven't worked out yet, ahhh!

3 bad habits: Procrastination, throwing my clothes on the floor after taking them off instead of hanging them up right away, and eating all the food on my plate even after satiety sets in, (don't ever teach your children this).

3 places I've lived: Springville, UT, San Leandro, CA and lots of places in Sacramento, CA.

5 jobs I've had: Dairy Queen, bagger at Safeway, administrative assistant, dental assistant, and dental hygienist.

5 things nobody knows about me: Well, my family may know these things but anyhow here they are: 1) I wanted to be a gymnast when I was a little girl. I thought I had a chance because I was always the shortest in my class, but unfortunately the growth spurt finally hit me at 16. Springboard diving was the closest I got.
2) I was a pretty good artist as a youngster. The middle picture was drawn when I was 3. The other one was on the first day of kindergarten at 4 years old.
3) I was in a wanna-be gang when I was in high school. I was quite the bad girl; baggy pants and everything (if Jeff only knew). Here's my posse...Indecent Styles or "IDS".
4) I was in the AFJROTC in high school and participated in the color guard where we marched in local parades. Here I am throwing a rifle (on the far right).

5) I totalled my mom's car my Senior year while driving home from seminary and Jackie was in the passenger seat sleeping. Apparently I fell asleep also. :) oppsie
