Royal Caribbean: Empress of the Seas
So in case you don't want to watch the 20 minute honeymoon clip, here are some pictures. It's hard to get very many shots that don't look the same when you are only 2 people on vacation.

Hey Jeff, don't let that towell swan bite your bottom lip!
The white powder sand on Aruba was my favorite!

The Wedding

Introducing
Dr. and Mrs. Routsong

Married November 30, 2007

Sacramento LDS Temple

What a great day! Before we were sealed (married), Jeff and I sat in the celestial room together spending our last few moments as single people. Jeff won't admit it, but I think he started to get a little nervous because he got all hot and had to have some water brought to him :-)! As we walked into the sealing room we saw all our friends and family together which was such a beatiful moment. The sealer gave a spiritual message about the sacred meaning of the words in the covenant and had us gaze into the mirrors at each other. Before we knew it, we were married!

The reception was perfect. We loved the flaminco guitar player we chose and the food was great even though we didn't eat much ourselves.

We got a great shot with all the Kids!

I didn't even taste my cake, how sad is that?

Point Reyes

I give Jeff all the credit for creating our blog. He's done a really nice job and so now it's my turn to give this a try. Anyhow, we went to Point Reyes a couple weeks ago to escape the fog and go on a hike. I had gone there many times while living in Sacramento, but have never taken the opportunity until now to go while living closer. We took a trail that led us to several waterfalls cascading into the ocean. When we got to the edge of the cliff and gazed out, we noticed all these birds surrounding an object that looked like a big rock. However, after staring for a bit longer, we realized that the birds were pecking at this object. Our curiosity took over us so we found a way down the cliff and made our way over. As we neared, an overwhelming stench caused us to pull our shirts up over our noses, yet we trekked on. What we found was a large mass of blubber and one bone. Our guess is that it was a very old beached whale. We looked around and noticed that we had the beach to ourselves, so we decided to take a 'lovers walk'. The smart thing would have been to walk up-wind from the blubber...but we aren't always so smart. We only lasted a few minutes and had to go running back up the cliff for some fresh air. Here is what we saw...

I'm plugging my nose, but a picture just doesn't seem to give it justice!

A Very Nacho Halloween

I am never usually the first to get excited about dressing up for Halloween. However, this year we were invited to a party where everyone dresses up as a couple theme. We knew we had to think of something good. So this is what we came up with, most of which Jeff and I sewed ourselves....

Here's Jeff bobbing for apples. He almost drowned with the mask on that he refused to take off.

How to Get Engaged

We left early one Saturday morning in September and drove to Napa where we went on a hot air baloon ride. It was so cold that they had to turn on the fans so the grapes wouldn't freeze. To stay warm we all gathered around the fire burners that were heating up the balloons.
Kristy and I went up with this other couple that was there because the girl was taking her boyfriend for a surprise on his birthday. I made special arrangements with the Ballooner, who was a really interesting guy, to give me a chance to propose.
Kristy was really excited, but she really didn't know what to say. It turns out she kinda knew I was gonna propose, because of how nervous I was acting. We had a lot of fun. Napa is so beautiful from up in a balloon. The other couple that was with us were the first to congratulate us and the girl even got tears in her eyes when she found out I had proposed. I'm just glad that ring is on Kristy's finger now and its out of my hands! We highly recommend Napa Valley Drifters as a ballooning host. They are really great. They even hooked us up with some complimentary sparkling cider and wine glasses with "the ballooners' poem" sandblasted on them.

We're getting Married!

So we've finally got a date set for our wedding. November 30th 2007. I'm really excited. I love Kristy so much. She's such a strong girl. She's got a great spirit and a she's really giving. I have so much fun with her and I am actually grateful though it was difficult waiting, the time that we've had to spend together to get to know each other. I know her well and I love her disposition and am grateful for her example of steadiness. She is the one I want to spend my life and the eternities with. She is the one I want to be the mother of my children. I love how hard working she is. She is dependable and meticulous about her work. She really cares about the people she serves everyday in her profession. It is so fun to be with someone in the same field of work. We can discuss things and we can relate to each other better, it makes life interesting! So we'll be getting out invitations shortly. I feel so blessed by the Lord and I'm grateful for His guidance in my life. I know He loves us all and watches over us.

Camping at Jackson Meadows Reservoir near Lake Tahoe

Here is the Wagnon FamilyEnjoying some pancakes in the wilderness.

We ended up taking the long route to the lake. We went through a backcountry not seen by many folks. But we arrived before the rest of our party which took the more civilized road.

So when we arrived at the lake we set up into camp and were blessed to have the last two "first come first serve" spots at our disposal. We made the mistake of purchasing two campsites and only useing one for the purpose of parking. One of my favorite parts of the trip was fishing in the little dingy with Kristy's nephew Tucker. We both just set out on the lake and dropped our lines. But this was an unlucky trip for us because we were unable to catch anything. Not even a bite. Kristy and I thought we had a big one but it was just a snag on the bottom. Boy, did I feel like I had a giant one on the end of my line for a second.

10 Years Since High School at Redmond, WA

July 2oth was an interesting night. I didn't expect to see so many people that still look exactly the same. Some of the girls actually had made some drastic changes but for the most part everyone still had the same personality.

Here's a great shot of Me Rob and Garrett with Kristy, Kim and Marcelia. It was a fun night.

The most fun was seeing the people that I hadn't actually seen for 10 years. Like Mike Vargas, Lindsay Donner, and Sarah Wolbretch.

This is me with Kyle Freiheit who's getting married in October and Garrett and Cameron Jafri who was a friend of Jakes and mine.

Mike Vargas is a programmer for X-Box 360 at microsoft. He's says they're working to make games interactive so that parents can play with their kids. He's got a lot of work to come up with something better than the Nintendo Wi

We also supplemented the Reunion trip with a visit to Seattle Center and went up to the Space Needle. When you live near a big touristy city you never do the tourist things while you live there. And as with custom this was my first time up to the observation deck.

I'm a Doctor! (of Dental Surgery)

So last Saturday June 16th the class of 2007 mormon Mafia got together for one last photo.
All of us LDS guys graduated together. It was awesome. The food at the reception was fantastic.
Even my brother in law Wes tried on my cap and gown and paraded around and was awarded and honorary doctorate. My Parents were there, my sister rachelle and her husband Wes. And Kristy was there with her parents and her sister Cindy and her husband Jared and their new baby Jack. So it was fun to have a big crowd. For graduation I got a 2 person inflatable cayak that Kristy and I have recently tried out on lake Chabot and now we are ready to take it down the American River for some Rapid Action. Check out my grad pics on http://myspace.com/rowdydds

Me and Kristy

Me and Kristy met over a year ago when we started emailing each other. The first time we met in person she had convinced me to swim a 1/2 mile ice breaker race in Folsom Lake near Granite Bay, in Sacramento. That was the hardest swim of my life, and if a girl can get you to do that, its not much more difficult for her to steal your heart. So that is what Kristy Bundy did, and starting on July 8, 2006, we've been together ever since. We do many outdoor activities together, and I did my first triathlon with her last summer. She has been surfing and rock climbing with me and passed all the "rowdy" tests. Our most recent adventure was an 8 mile hike wearing dry suits while descending through the "subway" slot canyon in Zion's National Park.
I have the best time with her and so last December I asked her to marry me. We should be getting married sometime this fall in the Sacramento Temple. We both share the same occupation of dentistry; Kristy is a Registered Hygienist and I will be graduating from Dental School on June 16th. We have dreams of starting a family and living in North San Diego County where I will hopefully start my vision of a cosmetic and implant family dental practice.
